How do I move to a new phone?

Settings → Export backup gives you a ZIP file. On the new phone, Android or iPhone, Settings → Import backup brings your whole kit back. An import merges with what is already there.

I bought the unlock. Where is it?

Settings → Restore purchases signs the unlock back in with the store you bought it from. It belongs to that store account, so use the same Apple ID or Google account.

Reminders don’t arrive.

Check that Remind me is on in Settings → Reminders, that today is one of the days you picked, and that GearKit may send notifications in your phone’s settings. Optional jobs remind silently, and storage-only jobs pause while their item is a daily driver.

I marked the wrong job done.

Tap Undo on the slip right away. Later, open the item, find the entry in History and remove it (swipe on iPhone, long-press on Android); the countdown goes back to the completion before it.

The widget shows the wrong gear.

Edit the widget (long-press it) and pick its scope: all gear, some categories or chosen items.
