Sheet 02 · How it works

Three steps, then it mostly runs itself

GearKit’s Index screen: a list of gear, each with a gear-shaped gauge and the days left to its next job.
Fig. 2.1

Add your kit

Every item gets a page and a drawing: a bike, a drone, a console. Components live on their parent, so the battery pack rolls up into the handheld.

The Edit job screen with the job’s title, its interval and whether it counts by date or by use.
Fig. 2.2

Give each job an interval

Every 90 days, every 2 years, or after every flight. Jobs follow the calendar or reset whenever you log usage.

The service record after marking Wax chain done: a Serviced stamp with the date, and the next due date 89 days out.
Fig. 2.3

Do the job, stamp it

GearKit reminds you before it’s due. Mark it done, add a note, and the gauge winds back up.
