Suspension service interval

Suspension makers count riding hours. Tell it what’s on the bike and how much you ride, and get each service as a date you’ll actually see coming.

How it works

Fox asks for a full factory service of the fork, shock or seat post every 125 hours or once a year, whichever comes first. RockShox counts maximum riding hours: 50 for the fork’s lower legs, the shock’s air can and a Reverb’s lower post, 100 or 200 for the fork’s spring and damper by model year, and 100 (Monarch, Vivid, Kage) or 200 (Deluxe, Super Deluxe) for the shock’s damper.

Each interval is the hours divided by your weekly riding, rounded to a step GearKit shows; Fox’s is capped at a year. GearKit counts by date: if your riding is seasonal, set the hours to your season’s average.
